Today's PUMPs & dumpS

247MGI Takes The Pump & Dump Business Public
also: A Bad Haircut Courtesy Of Green Endeavors

247MGI, Inc. (TOFS) is using a Pump & Dump campaign to fund a settlement agreement with a former director.  The company practically admits this as it issued a press release announcing the settlement, just days before the touts began repimping the stock, on the heels of a 4 weeks hiatus.  In the last month, insiders have managed to sell plenty of stock into the 800 million shares of volume created by the month long PnD campaign.

In fact the Pump & Dump campaign was so successful, that this $5 million company which, pending a merger, does nothing for a living, has announced that it will now go into the business of conduct these schemes for others.  Today's press release announced that, "upon completion of its pending merger, the Company will begin servicing the Small Cap market for public and private companies as well as individual investors where over $100 billion dollars exchanges hands annually".  The TOFS announcement goes on to say that, "The Company will be an all-inclusive financial servicing broker for Small Cap companies. Services will include acting as a transfer agent, making markets, assisting with financing, and taking private companies public through the use of several subsidiaries."

Allow us to translate. TOFS intends to fund other small companies, take them public through reverse merger, and then use PnD campaigns as an exit strategy.  In other words, if Pump & Dump incubator, Minamar Group and publicly held stock pimp, Crown Equity Holdings (CRWE) were to make a baby, TOFS would be the result.  Kiley Group (KGRI) has already attempted to make a go out of this business, all the while using it as a basis for a PnD, and all that has happened is that a lot of bag holders have lost a lot of money.  Prospective investors should consider the share price performance of CRWE and KGRI before believing that there is money to be made with TOFS.

Octus (OCTI) enters into the Pump & Dump business after several years of not being able to make it as a legitimate "green" business. The stock, which has been practically dormant for years, looks for increased volume on the touts' claims that it is a "leading building efficiency company".  We are skeptical about the "leadership" quality as this several year old company still loses enormous amounts of money.  We would hate to think how the company would fare if OCTI was not a "leader" in its industry.  After repeat years at which they will lose about $1.3 - 2million on a couple of thousand dollars of revenue, it's kind of difficult to see how one can justify a $2 million+ market cap, but it is not difficult to understand why the insiders would resort to a PnD campaign in order to be able to send the kids to college.

One of the stranger Pink Sheet stocks we have come across is Green Endeavors (GRNE), currently the subject of a Pump & Dump campaign.  A glorified hairdresser with two outlets, we're not sure why anybody would find this business the least bit interesting as an investment.  Although the company boasts of increasing revenues, it still loses money, according to its last income statement, and carries $3 million dollars in debt.  With two salons and a $4 million market cap, we're not sure how these guys can ever explain that there is value in their stock.  Still, for reasons we never understood, there are dupes out there who think that a stock trading in tenths of penny has nowhere to go but up.  Of course, we strongly disagree.  Still, by shamelessly invoking the name of Estee Lauder and retaining touts to pimp their stock, the insiders have been able to divest themselves of a couple of million dollars worth of stock.  Good for them.  Bad for the future bag holders.

The "LOL" emails are coming in fast and furious since we posted the "How Penny Stocks Work" video.  Although many of you have congratulated us for its production, we can't take credit for the video.  We just happened to stumble across it.  If you haven't seen it yet but could use a good laugh, we highly recommend that you watch it.  Keep in mind, that while the video is a caricaturization, it unfortunately rings true and is the basis for the touts ability to pimp worthless stocks to the public.  Pass the link on to your friends who play penny stocks, in hopes that maybe they can see the fool that the touts play them for.
