Today's PUMPs & dumpS

Lieberman Tries to Out Fox Investors Again!

Three more paid touts join the latest scheme headed by Pump & Dump specialist, William Lieberman, Fox Petroleum (FXPT).  Lieberman is currently involved in multiple litigations alleging securities manipulation, including one being prosecuted by the SEC in which Lieberman is at least a person of interest if not a defendant.  While we can tell you with certainty that Lieberman has been involved in several Pump & Dump campaigns which have resulted in significant investor losses, we are still working to untangle some of the spiderwebs such as those spun within Mammoth Energy (MMTE) a company currently involved in litigation to which Lieberman has been named as a defendant.

Pulse Beverage (PLSB) becomes the latest beverage company to join the Pump & Dump community on the hype of a beneficial beverage product line.  One only has to look as far back as yesterday to find that those who fell into Friday's BBDA promotion, took a big loss on Monday.  Beverage company PnD campaigns never succeed for anyone other that those looking to sell stock into the campaign.  See also: CUBV.

The public continues to have fool's gold fever as they fall under the spell of the aggressive Pump & Dump campaign that is Lone Star Gold (LSTG).  The stock advanced impressively yesterday in more than doubling its average volume.  Two more paid touts join the fraccus today, bringing the total number to thirteen.  We shake our heads in wonderment at those who have not learned from the LEXG and POTG Pump & Dumps, which ended up costing the bag holders millions of dollars.  Of course having traded over $10 million in stock over the course of the current month long campaign, we know that the LSTG insiders are not going to be amongst those left holding the bag on this one.

Another fantasy gold play, All American Gold Corp.  (AAGC), managed to generated about $600K in trading yesterday, on its first day of a new PnD campaign, as dupes continue to look for the next get rich quick scheme.  This one freely admits that its latest property acquisition has been explored in the past and one can only glean that nothing of significance was ever found (after all they didn't find a whack of gold and leave it there, did they?), so we wonder about the pie-in-the-sky attitude of those dipping their toes in these waters.  From AAGC's September 12, 2011 press release:
Historic work previously conducted at Goldfield West has led to the completion of 138 drill holes in this area. Through examination of the data compiled from previous work programs, in addition to the wealth of information gathered through geological mapping, geochemical sampling and geophysical surveys, our technical team has formulated, what management believes is the best course for our exploration program at Goldfield West.
So what is it investors are hoping for here?  That 138 holes were drilled in the past and then the explorers forgot that they had found gold?  Seems a little far fetched to us.  The press release also tries to sell readers on the 4.5 mile proximity of the play to a producing gold project.  4.5 miles?  Might as well be 450 miles.  Even properties adjacent to producing mines are rarely found to be of value.  That is why they are adjacent to the mine instead of part of the production.
